I try to read as many blog posts as I can, when I can. Sometimes I love reading the favourites post or the what I got up to at the weekend ones, but sometimes, there are certain blog posts that make me think or that I want literally everyone in the world to read. So I thought I’d share my love for some of my favourite posts I’ve read this month!
I’ve been feeling a bit “meh” of late, so when I was recently tagged by the lovely Lyndsay over at Fizzy Peaches to write a 10 things that me happy post, I figured it would be good for me to take time out to remember there are still things out there that make me happy and make me smile 🙂
I was kindly given VIP tickets to attend the Foodies Festival over the May Bank Holiday weekend, so naturally I took my Brighton bestie, Rachael, with me. We headed down on the Sunday, even though we knew it was going to rain that afternoon.
This month has absolutely flown by tbh. I’ve barely had time to catch my breath and suddenly, it’s May! *cue loads of gif about N*Sync and Justin Timberlake on Twitter* (For reference, they sing called “It’s Gunna Be Me” but it sounds like they’re singing “it’s gunna be May” for anyone who’s totally confused!!)
Happy World Stationery Day everyone!! Not only does it happen to be World Stationery Day today, it’s also National Stationery Week. So I thought to celebrate, I’d share some of my favourite stationery because everyone loves pretty things; especially stationery, right?
A couple of weeks ago, I posted about my top five Disney films and I said I was going to do a follow up post about my top five Disney Pixar films; so here it is!
I find there’s something quite comforting about watching vlogs, getting a snapshot into someone’s life and seeing how different or similar it is to mine; I think they’re my favourite kind of video tbh. As I’ve recently found some fab new Youtube accounts to watch, I thought I’d do a post on my current faves.
Since the invention of digital cameras, phone cameras and uploading pics straight to Facebook or Instagram, I miss the old fashioned excitement of using up a roll of film, taking it into a shop, waiting for it to be developed and see how great (or awful) the pictures I took were.
Held on Hove Lawns (in East Sussex) from Saturday 29 April to Monday 1 May (bank holiday), the Foodies Festival is back and it’s been billed as the biggest food festival in the UK. I’m giving my lovely readers the chance to win one of 5 pairs of tickets for the weekend (yup, the whole three days!).
Nestled in an unassuming part of Brighton Marina is the Malmaison, which has just undergone an incredible £5 million renovation! I went along to check it out with Charlie (from Modish Male) and some other lovely bloggers for cocktails, canapés and a sunset view.
