In a previous post, I went to Topshop to try out their personal shopping service, which you can read about here. I said I’d picked up a couple of bits and that I’d do an outfit of the day post so this is what I bought!
Áine and I decided to brave the October weather near one of Brighton’s beautiful private gardens to take some pretty photos 🙂
Firstly, I picked up this gorgeous grey jumper; which is so ridiculously soft and comfy. The beading round the neck gives it a lovely bit of detail. I went for this because I wanted something I could wear for smart/casual occasions and it fits the bill perfectly. Although it’s labelled as a cropped jumper, I didn’t find it looked particularly cropped which is weird, especially as I have quite a long body anyway! You can pick up the Cropped Beaded Neckline Jumper for £39 🙂
The second item I got was the Tie Dye Split Maxi Skirt for £30. I bought this because I wanted to start wearing more skirts and dresses in autumn/winter and I think it looks stunning with a pair of tights and some little ankle boots or a pair of Converse! I love the splits because you could wear some lovely coloured tights which would look fab!
The boots are a pair I picked up back in April (which featured in another outfit of the day post), mostly because J said they were a really good bargain (£65 down to £10!) I thought they looked hideous but J bought them anyway. I put them on and loved them! I’m so glad it’s finally boot-wearing season again ♥ They’re the Satire ankle boots from Rocketdog and you can get them here (although they’re currently £65 on their site – correct at the time of publishing).
What do you think of the choices I made? What would you wear with these? Let me know in the comments below 🙂 x
